ARTIST BIO
I’m Kate, creator behind Ship Street Studio.
I’m an Auckland-based mural artist specialising in black and white botanical line drawings and illustrations, notably large scale floral scenes.
For as long as I can remember plants and flowers have inspired my work. While studying 3D Design in the UK I constantly found myself looking to nature to inform simple yet elegant designs and solutions.
Since moving to New Zealand my love of botanicals has grown even deeper with our diverse mix of native flora and fauna and rich marine life that surrounds our shores.
